Diana London leads a double/NO MAKE THAT TRIPLE LIFE. She is the city administrator for Verdaville, South Carolina. She volunteers at night for the Verdarville Police Department; Oh and she is a werewolf
- who happens to be in heat this time of year. Can it get any more complicated? You Bet! Verdarville is Diana’s fief( territory) when a female vampire moves into town & starts murdering innocent people to fuel her magical powers, Diana is determined to put an end to her.
King Llyr Galatyn of the Cachamwri Sidhe (Faires) allies himself with Former High King Arthur Penedragon, now Liege of the Magi (vampires). As an ally he will help Magekind try & defeat evil vampires who are spread throughout the earth. It won’t be so easy for these vamps are not like the Magi; they have magic like the Majae (witches) only they grow stronger as more death occurs . Llyr& Diana have been dreaming of each other, so when he spots her picture in a newspaper at Magekind court, he knows his must start the fight in her town.
The chemistry between Llyr & Diana is hot. No one talks to the King the way she does, of course he likes it
Especially since he is hot for her. Their sex scenes are hot & witty. The funniest parts have the magical King live a non-magical mortal world, while chasing the ‘bad guys’. Trying to give a review & not reveal too much is always a laugh. Diana has the hard task of masking the Fairies presence in her small town (where everyone knows your business, of course) Secrets are the main part of this book. King Arthur and the Majae are not to know about the werewolves, Diana can’t reveal to her people that she is involved with the Sidhe, Llyr would not betray Diana to the Athrur’s people. Not all Sidhe are on the Kings side.
Evil vamps, magic resistant werewolves, Fairies with divided loyalties, double crossing Sidhe, plans within plans. Yet the story slows just at the right point so you get to know the main characters. No score card needed
The ending is not the usual fairy tale smooth. Just because you win the fight doesn’t mean you get the girl (even if you are King) without some political fighting from your people.

Erin Grayson former government agent has a score to settle with a demon but doesn’t know it. She thinks her seduction of businessman Reece Champion will get her answers as well as revenge against those who ruined her life. Erin is just a pawn in this set-up seduction. Reece Champion seems on the surface just to be an International businessman, who is a spy but his secrets don’t stop there- he is also a vampire with a mission. Reece can sense latent powers in Erin even if she knows nothing about them. Dangerous for him and her is a monster who needs Reece to awaken Erin’s powers- to use them for his own murderous plans. Can Erin trust Reece and believe in vampires, witches and all kinds of supernatural beings!
What a universe or rather mageverse!
Steamy vampires, Hot witches, seductive dragons but I get ahead of myself, having already read the other books in this series. If you have always liked the stories of King Arthur & the Knights of the Round Table or perhaps just into Vampire lore, you will be in heaven. This story of one latents misguided seduction of a sensuous vampire will have you turning the pages as fast as you can. The plot flows nicely from realspace earth to magic earth, AK has a wonderful way of writing secondary characters that will keep your attention. Erin is believable in her disbelief that all this is just a drug induced hallucination- vampires aren’t real! She is not about to become a witch! Spunky, brave, frightened Erin is written very well. Reece, understanding, brave, sexy, determined to save not only Erin but Avalon. The intimate scenes between them were of course up to AK’s erotic standards. The repartee between them had me lol. King Arthur now Liege of the Magi (vampires) King Llyr of the Sidhe (Fairies) Morgana le Fey all come across so well you can envision them. I couldn’t wait to play catch up with the series after the last page was turned.

Sex-Kitten Charity Wills is always running in her life, trying to get ahead (not successfully) working a typical cube job at Future-Tech in Seattle. Typically late, dressing in short skirts, tight tops, etc not in sync with her co-workers, she is called to H.R. thinking it’s another pink slip. What happens is an offer no one could refuse. A chance to attend college for free as long as she agrees to be a kind of lab rat(he calls them guests) for an eccentric physicist. B.G. Grantham whose lab is his reclusive estate and whose ‘guests’ are tested in sexual games of denial and then rewards of pleasure. Charity thinks it will be a walk in the park; her keeper Eric Berne looks manageable. B.G and Eric are in for a surprise when their new guest looks to be turning the tables in this game. Just who is in control will surprise all of them in the end.
Emma Holly certainly knows how to write erotica. The storyline is a bit thin, characters not too in depth. The sex scenes did have me visiting my favorite adult shop
An erotic pygmalion story with a twist- the other characters are all bi-sexual. Usually bi-stories are a real turn off for me, they go to one extreme or another. I actually liked the bi storyline quite a bit. Charity has some real insecurities even though she is well aware of her effect on men. Eric & B.G., long standing friends/lovers don’t come across stereotypical; they have insecurities that Charity unintentionally brings out. When they finally get past the games you don’t read about it enough - it is glossed over as the period where they all fall in love. So begins more complications that are resolved a little too neatly. Human nature being what it is. But hey this is fantasy. I will say it has opened me up to reading more of E. Holly’s books.

Three short stories from A.Knight, all crew members from the same Mercenary Ship Starrunner. Trinity, The Thrall, Claiming Cassidy. Outcast on a world of religious zealots Trinity Yeager must find a way off the planet before she is forced onto the bridal auction block. Her only hope is to convince the Captain of the team of mercenary soldiers that she is capable of doing anything to join his crew.
Nathan August, Captain of the Starrunner, can’t get his supplies fast enough & get off of Rapture’s Colony. When the beautiful Trinity wants to join his crew, it’s just not a safe life for most. To scare her off he says the only position open is to be his personal sex toy - when she accepts he adds his first officer to the deal. Trinity is up for it all to escape
Bedesem Colony was founded by people who are into BDSM. Many little kingdoms of Dom’s(Male & Female) exist, the thralls are subs. A kidnapping in the Domininality of Rabican brings the crew in for a clandestine rescue mission. First Officer Sebastian is to go uncover as a thrall to find out where the Dominors son is being held before a rival Dominess breaks him. Sebastian doesn’t expect to find a delicious asset in the Dominess of Corvo’s daughter Zaria, or what he would do to keep her.

The crew of the Starrunner is pitted against a group of Dharani warriors (mercenaries themselves) for the possession of a little colony world of New Galveston. Lieutenant Cassidy Vika is a fighter pilot from the Starrunner who is at the losing end of a dogfight with Major Rune Alrigo (Dharani warrior). With no other choice she decides to land her damaged ship on the planet below. Rune follows, to finish the job. He doesn’t expect to come across a woman who could be the mate he has longed for.
All three stories are good, the first & third are my favorites. Trinity is spunky - especially how she tells off the zealots. Nathan is typical male but it is a sweet story with HOT SEX.
It would have been fun to have Sebastian turn into a switcher(someone who can be Dom & Sub) that is my biggest beef with the book. Alpha men are so much fun but Alpha females are as well. Their sex scenes start off HOT.
Claiming Cassidy, now that I think about it, is my favorite. She is tough, smart & not intimidated at all by the stud Rune. Humor with the first time BJ had me smiling & an in depth look at the warrior society Rune comes from in a short story was satisfying. How they come together & stay that way has me wondering if AK would revisit this universe she created.

Reporter Jane Colby works in a small town; not a place where horrible murders happen; shocking her and the local detective. What will be even more surprising is that the killer is from the future and has murdered in the past.
Baran Arvid is a warrior from the killers own time (24th century) and is sent back to protect Jane and use her as bait to trap the time traveling Jack the Ripper. As they wait for the killer to make his next move their desire sizzles even if it can have no future.

| This was my first novel by Angela Knight, thank the book gods. Where to start…. It’s fast paced then slows down just enough to get into Jane (a modern heroine) with her own demons. She is spunky, smart & brave enough that she even tries to take on the 6ft 5 warrior at first. Baran a genetically engineered Warlord built to bruise, haunted by his past. The sex scenes are written to make you feel as if you are there. Puddles of delight. The language during sex might be graphic for some. Even the secondary characters she writes about make the reader want more of them. Freika, Barans partner, is a genetically enhanced timber wolf with some great one liners. It has all the elements of good sci-fi/time travel without losing the basic romance, heartache, laughter, action & erotic mix. Not an easy combo. LOVED REREADING IT. |

Kris Torrence, is a prim, proper professor who wants to experience sexual submission just once in her boring life. A classified ad in a newspaper for an island resort catches her eye it’s for a gentleman’s’ resort that needs women comfortable in the role of submissive sex slave.
Jack Mckenna has been Kris Torrence’s longtime nemesis. When he too vacations at the resort and sees a naked sex slave who reminds him of his longtime, unrequited desire, he decides to buy her. When they finally meet it is the shock neither will forget.

Jack is the bane of Kris Torrence’s existence. When his friend and owner of the resort invites him to vacation there at the same time, the fun begins! Kris has no idea what to expect when she agrees to be a plaything for rich men. I especially liked how the new girls are masked then massaged into accepting stroking from strangers. It was a SIZZLING HOT way to start. Her reactions to Jack are most revealing, intimate. You feel it is just the two of them, not an island full of rich Dom’s. Jack’s emotions swing from one extreme to another as he must try to win her. Jaid Black’s characters have some sense of humor - not all erotic romance has to be about angst or sex. I look for humor in life so to have it in my books is especially nice. Definitely a keeper for my STEAMY collection (if you like books that are not for the faint hearted).
